The entire fleet is equipped with wide, resilient mountain bike tires that absorb the impact of uneven ground. Helmets, bike day-packs, water bottles, parking, maps, and change rooms are provided free of charge. Four Routes to choose from: Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail : 3-6 Hour, 25 Mile tour.Tour winds its way through Lehigh Gorge State Park to Glen Onoko Falls and finishes in Scenic Jim Thorpe. Mid-Way Gorge : For those that may not have the time or inclination to petal the whole Gorge Rail-to-Trail. 2-4 Hour, 15 Mile tour. Switchback Railway : 9 Miles. The tracks are long gone on this old railway, leaving only a scenic hiking and biking trail at this National Historic Trail. The trail follows the rim of Mt. Pisgah before dropping into Mauch Chunk Creek Valley. The trail passes a lake and follows a creek through an exceptionally dense hemlock and rhododendron forest. The trail ends in historical Jim Thorpe. Broad Mountain: Offers a variety of trail options from intermediate to advanced. Features stream crossings, beautiful overlooks and miles of advanced single track...followed by a screaming downhill to the Gorge! From there you hop on the Gorge Tail-Trail and ride back into Jim Thorpe. Over 20 Miles of variety and excitement on the Broad Mountain.
